As I just finished gloating about how awesome the December weather has been this year....on Monday, Chicago gets hit with some type of insane blizzard/hurricane combo like I've never seen before. You would definitely have to have seen it to believe it! People were literally holding onto poles so that they wouldn't blow away down the street. I guess they don't call us the Windy City for nothing! Luckily, the madness only lasted for a day and now we're just left with remnants of snow and slush as a reminder. Winter has officially arrived!
